Numbers of crimes and the neighborhoods they are committed in
Basically a way to give neighbors a "heads up" . A way for neighbors to know they need to be on the look out for burglars, car theives, drug dealers, etc

Call me cynical. I bet anything, none of the crimes which police officers commit ever make it into these numbers.

This is my number one item. Why? It is critical for residents of different neighborhoods to know their current crime level. Plus, it enables individuals within different neighborhoods to know what crime to look out for, so they can prepare themselves. Lastly, it helps residents determine what neighborhoods they should consider to reside in when looking at crime data.

This could help any neighborhood to becaome aware of a criminal or gang of criminals operating in their neighborhood. Could lead to people calling in to report suspicous activities and prevent a burglary, drug related death or violence or even a murder
